The Private Label Manufacturers Association Show (PLMA)
PMLA 2019 was a large show (8 halls) and we walked 13 km to cover it. There were many exhibitors offering only branded products, including some large brand corporates, such as InterSnack. Though it's a private label show, the number of branded products exhibitors is a measure of its value for meeting European retailers and wholesalers. PLMA is definitely a pan-European show. If you fail to exhibit as a manufacturer of retail-ready food products on the Continent, you will be conspicuous by your absence. All being well, TradeScope will be taking a group of US companies to PLMA to see the show and meet buyers.

Food ingredients Europe (FiE)
With 30 stands, the US Pavilion was larger at FiE 2017 than the previous iteration of the show in Paris in 2015. The US exhibitors were a mix of ingredient suppliers including trade associations, snacks, dairy ingredients, flavours, dried fruit and nuts, and natural sweeteners.
FiE is the largest ingredient show in Europe. This year, Fi Europe and Natural ingredients (Ni) have been co-located with Health ingredients Europe (HiE).
