As we've intimated in these columns before, TradeScope regularly organizes trade missions to North America and other parts of the world because they are part of our proven sales strategy.

One of our successful trade missions involved the recruitment of 4 European seafood distributors for a buyer trip to Washington and Alaska. One of those companies, a large Dutch seafood distributor, purchased 75 metric tons of salmon valued at roughly US$ 600,000 and 150 metric tons of Alaska Pollack valued at around US$ 500,000 as a direct result of the trip. Now, that's not small fry.
Contact Ted Horton if you'd like to find out more about getting your product in front of serious European buyers or if you're a European
buyer looking for top quality ingredients or packaged foods to service your home market.
